Footnote: My Free Course on Western Art
The project started in 2020 and by 2027 I will have record over 200 45-60 minute YouTube videos with full lecturer notes summarising the history of Western art from cave painting to the present day.
The notes were initially researched and produced manually but, since 2023, the work has been increasingly automated using Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. I regard these as useful productivity tools and I still check the notes using various books and websites, particularly Wikipedia and the relevant museum or gallery but any mistakes are my own.
