4c Portfolio Manager

A fully-configurable and easy-to-use project evaluation and prioritisation tool.
• The user can configure a set of evaluation criteria against which projects can be assessed. This gives each project a score, allowing prioritised lists and bubble charts to be produced. projects can be reassessed throughout their lifecycle, and the scores at each stage recorded.
• Weightings can be applied to the criteria and their constituent elements, which can vary over time or as projects progress through the lifecycle.
• Can be linked with 4c Project Manager, 4c Programme Manager and/or 4c Resource Manager.

4c Project Manager

A highly customisable and configurable project management software application.
• Produces gantt charts, network plots and fully analysed projects with estimated dates, hours (or days) and costs calculated at task, activity (product), phase (stage) and project level.
• If used with 4c Timesheet, actual time and costs are automatically updated, with traffic lights indicating variances from plan.
• Project costs can include labour costs, disbursements (expenses), sub-contracts and materials.
• Using templates can make building the initial plan quick and easy, and helps ensure conformance to standard methodologies such as PRINCE 2.
• Automatically linked to 4c Programme Manager.
• Can be linked with 4c Portfolio Manager and 4c Resource Manager, and forms an integral part of 4c PSA.

4c Resource Manager

Used with 4c Project Manager, this application allows resources (skills and people) to be assigned to projects, with resource availability being calculated automatically.
• The system provides a wealth of resource reports in the form of barcharts, histograms and spreadsheets, indicating allocations and remaining availability. Future assignments can be moved on the barchart to smooth resource allocation, or the sophisticated Resource Analysis function can be used to carry out this function automatically, based on project and task priorities and float values.
• Used with 4c Timesheet, the system provides utilisation statistics showing the time spent on productive (i.e. project) work against non-project activities, in the form of listing reports and pie charts.
• Forms an integral part of 4c PSA.

4c Programme Manager

Automatically linked to 4c Project Manager.
• All project data (dates, hours/days and costs) are rolled up to the overall programme or portfolio.
• The programme can be broken down into sub-programmes, to as many levels as required. Projects can belong to more than one programme.
• The programme can be analysed using selected project fields, providing a Virtual Programme breakdown, again to as many levels as required.
• Programme reports, barcharts (gantt charts) and spreadsheets can be produced.

4c PSA (Professional Services Automation)

Used with 4c Project Manager, 4c Resource Manager and 4c Timesheet, 4c PSA provides a complete professional services automation solution.
• Resource charge rates are held as tariffs which are applied to each project, for which overall charges are calculated. These can form the basis of a fixed fee or can be charged to the customer on a "time & materials" basis. Other project costs (disbursements/expenses, sub-contracts and materials) can be selectively marked as chargeable.
• Bookings can be made automatically or manually and are immediately available for invoicing. The system provides lists of bookings which can be invoiced: invoices can be printed from 4c or the data exported to your accounting system.

4c Timesheet

Used with 4c Project Manager, 4c Programme Manager and 4c Resource Manager, this separate module allows those working on projects to record their time (and optionally, overtime) spent on tasks and project activities. They can also enter time spent on non-project activities, and record their expenses.
• Timesheets for any one week are approved and processed the next: hence projects are quickly updated with "actuals", allowing for timely indications of variances from plan.
• If used with 4c PSA, invoices for work completed in one week can be produced before the end of the following week, thus improving cash flow.
• 4c Timesheet is available as both a client-server and a web application.
